When pre-ordering is enabled, it becomes essential to see all the orders and items which are scheduled to be delivered "today". Presto Orders Console provides a specific view for this. In the Orders Console, click the "Today's Deliveries" link at the right top. This will show you a list of all the orders that are scheduled for delivery today.
This view splits each order into its items and shows the items and their statuses in separate lines. This will help you to quickly get a view of all the items that need to be packed and dispatched without having to view the Order detail page for every order. Further the status of individual line item can be updated as and when an individual item is packed and dispatched.
Note that, this "Today's Deliveries" view will show all orders that should be delivered today and not just pre-orders that are scheduled for today. It will show all the express delivery orders (i.e. orders which are placed to be delivered asap) and scheduled delivery orders with delivery date of today (even when they do not have any pre-order items).
