All orders, including pre-orders (i.e. orders containing pre-order items) show up in the Orders Console. The Orders Console does not make any distinction between orders containing pre-order items and regular items.


Once an order appears in the Orders Console the admin can set the scheduled delivery date and time for each of the pre-order items in that order. On doing this the customer is notified about the updated delivery date and time.


To set the delivery date and time : 


1. Click "View" for the corresponding order. This opens the Order detail view.

2. Scroll down to see the list of items in that order.

3. Click the "Edit" link provided for each individual item. This opens the "Item detail view"

4. Set the Delivery date and time.

5. Click "Update".
